The one tub/shower worked very well but is an old clawfoot tub, so might be tough for people to step into and out of. The bath was well-stocked with lots of nice washcloths and towels, but no place to set toiletries. Be aware it's an older house, so only one bathroom, which can be a challenge with four people. We didn't use the kitchen or laundry much, but there was a nice fridge, dishwasher, utensils, pots/pans, a full laundry room, etc. The TV had a million channels, plus ability to log on to streaming services. The house was nicely decorated, comfortable, with super-comfortable mattresses and pillows. There were 4 of us in town for a concert at Treasure Island, and this VRBO was WAY better than sharing a cramped hotel room. I think we all were impressed by how well-maintained and clean the property was. The directions sent to my phone were precise, entry to the house was easy. Ultimately, this would be a great space for a friends or family getaway. Steep drop off over the edge … may want to wait until kids are older but could work for families. I’d want to come back with my family, but the outside could be dangerous for little ones. We want to come back to take advantage of the fire pit and pool! It was raining during our trip but it still was a great experience. The location was a short drive to Red Wing, which made it easy to go in and out for day trips. I would have seen if they could have arranged an on site yoga, masseuse or chef to come to the house.

I wish I had known they could have done a concierge service. The showers and jacuzzi tubs made us feel spa like. We sat in the hot tub in the AM and PM and it was so soothing to sit and relax with such a view. The view of the Mississippi is incredible. We were happy to share bed (three bedrooms) but if someone wanted, someone could have slept on the very comfy and very large couches. My girlfriends and I stayed here in October for our annual girls trip - a group of six.
